I use Mac OS, Windows, Linux (mostly Ubuntu and Debian). I also have a freeDOS VM to play some old DOS games.

I use a mix of Linux, Windows, and macOS depending on what I'm doing. They're all just tools, in the end.

Out of the three, I definitely use Linux the most, but distro-wise it once again depends on the purpose. For most of my "production" (as in, not testing/practice) servers, whether on the metal or virtualized, I use Debian or Ubuntu, although I have a few Alpine ones floating around.

It's similar for my on-the-metal desktop machines: Debian/Ubuntu, or something Arch-based. I'll choose based on a variety of factors, including hardware compatibility, what exact tradeoffs I want from design choices, and so on. On top of this, I tend to have a lot of desktop VMs. These, like my servers, will tend to be very purpose-specific and the distro will be chosen accordingly. This is also the main way I distrohop. Finally, none of this is counting live environments like TAILS or live DFIR workstations.

I use debian to develop deb packages and install it through docker but i also use windows.
