How does one rip Userbars? #1
I want to learn how, but apparently everyones to busy :foreveralone:

They just make the whole thing in PS. Sometimes they download the userbar template from a forum and make it.

I think you download the png image erase the text and re gradient the background of the userbar.

Copy parts of the pattern of the userbar and paste is multiple times over the text until it all looks smooth, then they make the text from scratch.

What blue said, let me carry on from there. Find a good spot in the user-bar, which you can cut off easily. Once you do that, keep on pasting it over the text(CTR+V or CTR+J). Once you've done that. Zoom out to 100% and compare the original and the one you just partially ripped. If the results don't look promising, then keep on adding bits and darken/lighten areas until you almost reach perfection. Once you think it looks alright, the text part is very easy. But can be hard at times as well. Most of them will need a stroke and a shadow.
