I once did, about 7-8 years ago..
A movie site where you could post your own movies and set them 'available' for friends to use them.. It kept track of whom was having which movie of yours, gave some nice info about the movie, pics, etc..
Was made with a lot of php, html and a database offcourse..
If interested, i could give you the source. Must say most of it is written in dutch however..

Ok, here is the source.
Couldn't find the sql for the db anymore, but when going trough the source you'll be able to replicate.
