Did you try to find any browser extensions that block ads? I advise you to look into the google chrome online store. There you can find some kind of free ad blocker. For example, iNinja https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...mffkfcemnc . This should be enough for ads to disappear from YouTube.

I've come across Ghostery Privacy, but wasn't aware of It's effectiveness. Appreciate your feedback.

It's definitely very effective.

No there's a second app to install if you want to sign in with accounts, it's all in the instructions if you look up the apk
