How do I play RuneScape?

I was just wondering, how do I play it? I'm pretty sure I should start on a private server first, but I just don't know how to play ;(
Someone give me some tips/tell me how to play and how to connect to a private server?

I couldn't even get past the dragon in the tutorial level :/

take your time and read all the dialog that pops up. Its simple just point and click lol. If you don't know how to play then watch some videos on youtube.

The tutorial was made for kids, its very straight forward. If you can't read then you're screwed.
