I think it's more for the taste, and experience rather than just smoking it because.

Oh, I was gonna say. I smoke weed everyday, there's nothing wrong with weed, cigs on the other hand are awful. I've accedently took a hit of tobacco out of a p hitter and almost died it was so gross.

Never tried either of the two, but I would imagine cigarettes taste as bad as the smell considering both of my parents smoke.
