If you chose the rich & money path, you'll feel happy at the beginning and then with the time passing and because of your unhonesty, you'll lose everyone you've loved, you'll start losing happiness and getting more into the "dark" side of your life, money will start meaning nothing to you and you'll regret it a lot.

Honesty, might at first look like it's a dark/bad thing, but if you're honest and it all becomes bad for you, it's just "charging" for you to get something really good. Honesty won't make you lose who you ever love, and honesty at the end of the road can achieve money and happiness for you.
