i’ve had a gym membership for some time now and was thinking of making my own gym at home. Just seeing what the pros and cons of doing that are !

I'd prefer home gym, but if you don't have the proper equipment it's probably cheaper to pay a membership.

A home gym will always be best if you have the money to actually buy all the equipment you need.

If you’ve got the space and budget, a home gym gives you total flexibility and no waiting around. But if you like variety in equipment and that extra energy from a gym crowd, sticking with a membership might be worth it. Just depends on what motivates you more.

I think it depends on what you need. Equipment can cost a lot, but there's often alternatives. I personally would prefer home gym, but I don't require a lot of specialised equipment.

I'm in favour of the public gym, where the competition rule works and it's easier to get in shape.
