It's not that good. I like my current one, nord VPN.

I'm trying to work a deal with them. Most people use free vpns because they are free and think they work the same way. I dont pick a VPN because its faster. I pick one that i think it the most safe. Slower speeds are a result of that.

I don't like it because the service is sketchy, and there are too many people using it.
I personally use one thats private.

I used to be subscribed to their VPN service. A lot of people here mentioned about it being oversaturated and such, but I honestly didn't experience troubles with it. There was a case about them before about selling out a subscriber who was involved in blackhat activities, so if you need a VPN for that purpose I'd stay away from them. For typical usage, it's okay. Their software was useful and had a lot of features to check which is the best server to connect to.
I unsubscribed eventually though because back then I had to cut down on expenses. Now I just use RA4WVPN, because I got lifetime account for cheap, and it seems to do it's job well - albeit inferior to HMA in almost all aspects, objectively speaking.

Use a private VPN. You will get fucked if you use a public VPN.
