Hidden Menu Codes For Smartphones #1
Hidden menus and codes on cell phones are anything but new. Back in the days, even the old-school brick phones had these, allowing people who knew about them to access service options and software information. Today, a "secret" menu exists on most (if not all) popular smartphones, and to get to it, you just need to input the right code.

I've only tested the Android codes so far, and they seem to be working perfectly. If there's any code on this thread that's not working for the device which it's specified for, let me know and I'll remove it from the list.

To use these codes, open up your dialer app and Input the code (just like as you would when dialing a phone number) for your smartphone according to It's brand. The Hidden menu will then open automatically.

Sony : *#*#7378423#*#*

Samsung : *#0*# AND *#7353#

Iphones : *3001#12345#*

Nokia Lumia : *#92702689# AND ##634#

Other Android Phones (E.G : Nexus 4) : *#*#4636#*#*

For All Android Phones (Shows IMEI) : *#06#

Here's a gigantic list of secret codes with vairous functions. The codes listed below are for Samsung smartphones, but you can try them on Android Phones from other brands as well and see if they work. Keep in mind that the codes listed below are ONLY for Android Smartphones.

Rather than replying on a thread of 3 years old, it would be better to create a seperate thread, so people will see it.
I'm not sure how you can do it, but I'm sure you can't do it that easily by just inputting a code.

First of all, this is some severe gravedigging. But that aside, I'll try to answer your question.

YOU CAN'T
the IMEI number is burned into the baseband in hardware, to change it, you will need to change your baseband (aka get a new phone). Think of this like the hardware address in a NIC, except with one critical difference.
With a NIC, it's up to the driver to actually form the packets, so the driver can inject a different HWID. With mobile handsets, the baseband handles everything, so you can't change whats on the chip and you can't inject anything different.
