PHP Is rather easy to learn and quite powerful.

If you know HTML (and JavaScript would be handy), you'll have no problem adapting to PHP.

I know you have probably already looked into YouTube classes on programming. Honestly, YouTube has taught me more than school ever did. I would recommend checking out TheNewBoston's videos. He explains things in a pretty easy manner and it's not hard to catch on with. I wish you the best of luck!
