there is a way for hack wifi using windows?
please help me.
i don't have backtrack OS. so, i can't use backtrack

@"nnc36" , yes is possible. But in Backtrack, the success is sure. There are some in ways for Windows, such as via CommView for example.

Hello man, I would like to mention two things...before I congratulate you. Kappa

First avoid spaming from the first place deauthentication packages try to send one..in most cases one would be ok with good signal. Also spamming death packages could lead you to unavailability of getting the Handshake.


Two its good after you set your wireless card to monitor mode to do that :

ifconfig wlan0 down
macchanger -m 00:11:22:33:44:55 wlan0
ifconfig wlan0 up

So you will not reveal your real mac-adress to the tagret's router.And then you are ready to go. You can also take random mac like this:

macchanger -r wlan0

For Debian based Distros just :

Code:

aptitude install macchanger

To install macchanger.

So that was my recommendations, I hope I helped some... I didn't know that @Legolas has a wifi hacking tutorial, so I didn't feel nice when I realised that I 've post that helpful suggestion on others and not on the (FOR SURE BETTER) made by @Legolas tutorial. I hope that this doesn't disturb anyone (posting on a old thread).
