I absolutely hate making this announcement, but I have to. Lately we have had issues with the activity of group leaders. I think it goes without saying that Anarchy Forums was bound to run into problems with group leadership, since we have been up for almost 9 months. It is a lot of work to manage a group and I think it is reasonable for a person like WuhTeh Fuh to want to resign after so long. In acknowledgement of the inactivity the leaders of Syndicate, Goons, and the News Team have all stepped down.

I plan to appoint new leaders for the groups by Friday night (if not sooner). The new leaders are expected to commit to at least 6 months of active leadership and fulfill the requirements given by me. The leaders for Goons and the News Team haven't been selected yet, although I can announce that Cyber will be the new leader of Syndicate. Groups will be regulated a bit more and expected to follow certain guidelines. Members of the forum can expect all groups to be up and running again by next Monday.

Prior to all of this happening, there were actually plans in place to add three new groups. A well-known group on another site had expressed interest in increasing their presence on Anarchy Forums, but they didn't fulfill the requirements needed to create an official group. There will definitely be new groups in the future, but our current objective should be to improve the already existing ones first.

Goons is still here. I was considering decommissioning it, but I changed my mind. I will either find a leader for it, or simply let the group run itself and supervise it.
