If English is your secondary language then it's completely understandable. The effort is what counts. I'm talking about people "who tlk lik dis nd wundr why i get mad."

Well that isn't called grammar then, it's slang/chav English.

Slang/chav is still grammar.
One definition of grammar is "The study of how words and their component parts combine to form sentences."
The "words" are still forming sentences so it is grammar.

I semi-agree with this, grammar is extremely important, but only in a business/school environment. When you're around your friends on facebook or twitter or what-not it's not as important as it usually is, because you not going to loose much if your friends judge you on your grammatical errors.
How soon, unaccountable, I became tired and sick;
Till rising and gliding out, I wander’d off by myself,
In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,
Look’d up in perfect silence at the stars.

I think grammar is important. It makes you seem more professional and, in some ways, more intelligent. But I do not really care if other people don't have exceptional grammar, as long as I can read it.

* Lets not turn this into a flame thread.

Yea if people are understandable then fine. I hate the improper use of "your" and "you're" especially though.
