.xyz domains have such a bad connotation to em now that it's better off getting a .ml for free

Domain names are very affordable.
For a .com domain at Crazy Domains will set you back 6.60$, plus private registration (at the most around 11$), you're looking at 18$ round figures. That's a small price to pay per year for peace of mind.
