Hello, I found an article that shows that google could have been a way for someone to spy on you. In the article "Chromium voice extension pulled after spying concerns" can be found Here it says,
All in all, who knows Google is probably spying on us all right now. You can see this, how it changes your ads by the way you go on certain websites. But, I mean they probably aren't using the information for bad reasons. . .
Quote:Check the "OK Google" option and the extension can load. However, it doesn't simply load once and then stay loaded. When you turn it on, it loads, but a few seconds later, unloads. Subsequently, it only loads on the new tab page (which includes a Google search box) or when visiting google.com. Navigate away from these pages and a few seconds later, the extension unloads again. Turn off "OK Google" and the same thing happens; if the extension is running, it unloads after a few seconds. Also,
Quote:Even with the "OK Google" feature turned off, when you start Chrome, the extension is loaded for a few seconds, and then unloaded.. This shows, that if you had google and had a microphone, you could have been spied on. It's kind of interesting how such a big company still has so many errors.
