I'm at a loss as to why developers neglect to protect their software. Sure, there are elite RE'ers like CORE, Black Riders and X-Force who can reverse just about any application, but this vendor (Vladovsoft) makes the job extremely simple.

they've only obfuscated the main application, the dlls aren't obfuscated, and still, they used Dotfuscator which is a terrible obfuscator, you don't really need to deobfuscate it

Not that I've personally experienced It, but I have heard negative/poor results with Dotfuscator.

Dotfuscator doesn't change the structure of the application most of the time (other obfuscator doesn't change the structure but i don't have their names), meaning that until you know where that piece of code is, the renaming of the functions, variables & namespace don't matter, i also want to point out that Dotfuscator doesn't obfuscate strings, meaning you can use them as an indicator. (newer versions might)

TheSkySoft also used Dotfuscator for most of their apps, however, since they always place the licensing code at the same place, i just had to navigate there & make the function always return true, others also use ConfuserEx which when deobfuscated with NoFuserEx, produce clean code, like a non-obfuscated application

the best obfuscator i know is Beds Protector v1.4, haven't been able to decompile it, earlier versions like the 1.0 were possible to deobfuscate via NetUnpack (Memory extraction). im still working on DForcine, and i find it weird no one tried to deobfuscate it on sinister.ly, it got deobfuscated very quickly by chara members.
