Getting into music production #1
So i've picked up the interest in music production, mainly house & trap music.
Any tips & ideas for me as a beginner on how i can start off in a good way with FL studio?

So far i've downloaded some trap / house / edm sound packs & some vocal stuff but i need some help with it,
i've already watched a few tutorials and i've put together a basic beat i will display here soon. :1f60c:

I suggest just keep playing around, I find tutorials can be good, but when you actually play around with the features yourself, it's better.I also recommend downloading the Nexus plugin.

Learn to make your own synth presets as well as getting some understanding of mixing dynamics and such. I've been producing for almost two years now and I always find myself just experimenting with little bits and trashing them after. It builds up my theory and understanding each and every time. So like Zodiac said honestly just do a bunch of experimenting. Develop your own bits and styles, learn how to EQ separate parts of tracks, how to sidechain and layer synths as well as kicks and etc. Also do your best to learn about chord progressions and such as well. A simple little experiment I did a bit ago relies extremely heavily on chords. (I'm probably just going to trash it but still here's an example)
