Laptops are pain in the ass to replace, my cpu is soldered into the socket so I can't put new grease on it. Also my mobo is running at 70C and have no idea how to lower the temperature w/o buying a cooling pad.

you should still be able to pull the heatsink and apply thermal compound. Also make sure you'v dusted the vents really really well. I've used an air compressor in the past with a blow nozzle and had all kinds of gnarly dust shit break up of the fan/cooling fins.

Touche, rog. Even aside from this, there's systems like the Raspberry Pi. It's $20 and you can do pretty much anything with it, so they're fairly disposable.
