Definitely go with the Xbox. Maybe be a little more money, but it's totally worth it.

Hm, I'm pretty sure you could get an Xbox Elite with a few games cheap enough. I'm almost sure PS3 is still more expensive than Xbox.

But yeah, I would add you but I try to avoid people who mod the games because of 2 previous encounters.
1. on World at War I got into a random derank lobby online and it put me into the neg XP zone, so I cant play WaW matchmaking anymore.

2. someone who ran MW2 lobbies friended me, he was pretty cool, got me to make him a website etc. but when I decided to quit I kept getting DDOS'd over the next few days -_-
