GCSE Level English & Maths 06-16-2016, 02:22 AM
#1
Hey, I left school 11 years ago now so I don't remember how difficult it was back then. All I know is I'm more dumb now than when I left school.
Tomorrow at 9:30am, I have to do 2 tests, 1 English and 1 Maths, they're the equivalent of GCSE level. It's 2:25am and I can't sleep so I'm probably going to be doing the tests half asleep lol. I assume some of you have done tests recently or will be doing them soon? How difficult are they?Â
I only found out today i'll be doing the tests so I haven't studied at all, tbh if I was given 1 years notice I still wouldn't of studied. We have a few forms to fill out and some other stuff to do during the day but we're allowed to leave once complete so my plan is to try smash it all within an hour or so lol. The football's on at 2pm so I want to be out of there well before then so I can sink some beers before the game.

Well if it GCSE standard you'll be looking at being there for about 4 hours
Maths is 1h45
English is 2h15
And they took me a min of 1h30 and 2h to do then both soo..
But it all depends which English you doing. Lit, Lang, poetry. Then you need to know if it's higher or foundation
Maths is a lot easier just higher or foundation, higher you will need to know trigonometry, and lots more.
Wanna be here? Donate NSP to me will go in rank order = More you pay the higher you will be!

I can't see them giving you questions about trig, Pythagoras etc.

If there are foundation it should be easy enough but it depends how good you are with English and maths I guess.

Pissed it in less than 30 mins, including the application forms I had to fill in. There was a few questions I was unsure about on the English one, mainly spelling since we have spell check these days lmao. When I was filling out my application it asks for an email address and I pointed at it and said to the girl next to me "add me on fb" I've got home and she aint added me tho haha. Hopefully she gets the job as well so I can get in her pants.
It wasn't actual GCSE tests, it was about 30 maths and 30 english questions we had to complete, the first ones are easy like "132 x 3 +4", then moved onto averages and shit like that. There was space to do out working out since there was no calculator but I only had to use the space once when converting currencies, I already got the right answer in my head but I wanted to double check that 1 question.
I had everybody laughing because every time I turned to the next page i'd just say "easy!". Also caught the examiner out because he said "sorry we've had to do this so early, I have something important to do this afternoon" so I shouted out "yeah, still coming for a pint to watch the game?" and it was exactly what his plan was anyway lmao. Felt like I was at school again but this time wasn't kicked out for being a joker.
