Future of the internet? Google Fiber gets powned by Nokia #1
I read this article just now and it's pretty interesting actually.

Google Fiber is shit compared to the speed Nokia reached. Nokia delivers a speed of an amazing 1TB/s transfer speed. It's a pretty interesting read, they say they are using a new technique for transferring data.

A very Interesting read Indeed.

My goodness, they even hit 1.25TB/s which Is Insane. I remember 13 years ago when I had dial-up connection and was ecstatic when I peaked at "52Kbp/s" via Limewire. I took a screenshot and emailed It to a friend of mine, showing off It's speed. Looking back at It now, how embarrassing It was.

On topic here, It'll be Interesting to see just how long It'll take to populate, particularly to the average consumer.

I agree, the internet speed is still raising exponentially. It's good, but still this is just a test that they brought out. To bring it to the entire world will still take a few years probably.

Not a few years, a lot of years.
Till this time my internet speed is 150KB/s and sometime 200-250KB/s.

And on topic... I can't believe these speeds though. What would the consisrant speeds be I doubt they'll hit 1tb+ with an entire community on it consistently.

Absolutely.

This just demonstrates the advancements In technological breakthroughs. It's not that they "can't" release It to the entire globe, but more so they "won't" due to the financial side of It (and of course It's Infrastructure). It's all about money and preparing to get the most out of It.
