Stanford is providing a free online class on artificial intelligence. It will be run in two different tracks. There will be the basic track which is much easier but will teach the basics, and there will be an advanced track which is intended to be a Stanford level of difficulty course. There will be homework, mid-terms, and a final. More information on enrollment, topics, and course schedule can be found here.
