Yeah right. The hf skids always try to show off something terrible as something great. The HTTP Protocol is simply not for Remote administration tools. I would like to see Remote Desktop with over 20 FPS. Its just not happening.

The coder of this RAT and anyone who has bought it should kill himself.

If you have decent FPS then I wonder what are the bots doing to the webserver. The only way to achieve somewhat good FPS over HTTP is to flood the server with frames which is kind of a layer-7 attack on your machine by itself. I haven't even mentioned all the bandwidth spent by the webserver relaying the frames from your client to you.

A way better solution is to run your RAT through Tor or I2P. Then you don't need to port forward. For this pile of shit you would still need a free web hosting(which will get taken down after a week or two) or port forward TCP 80 at home or pay for VPS(which is probably the only good idea).

With Tor or I2P its actually recommended to NOT port forward.

All I am saying is that there is not an excuse to use HTTP protocol for a RAT. Its just not suitable for fast file-transfers and decent remote desktop.

If this coder was any good, he would have wrote his own protocol and ran it through Tor because not only it REALLY removes the need of port forwarding but it also adds a lot of privacy and unbreakable encryption. Google for SkyNet botnet.

You shouldn't tell random people to go fuck themselves when they are most likely to be smarter than yourself sir.

Also, .NET malware are bullshit by their nature.

Just like dopamine said, this shit is crap. Using HTTP to process manage, file manage and remote desktop is just stupid, and the fact that it's in .net is a fail too, it's bunch of mistakes all put together Lol.

A HTTP Request works like this:
- Client connects to webserver
- Sends it GET or POST etc request
- Webserver understands it and sends a response
- Web browser does its thing.

For a file manager to work with decent performance, your bot would have to send a HTTP Request every 1 second to know what u browse etc. For Remote desktop its something like 0.1 second.

This RAT is a layer-7 attack on its own. Only a complete idiot would use it.

Most RATs work like this:
- Client connects to controller
- Data exchange until looses connection

As you can clearly see, there is no handshake and the connection never gets closed so your Controller doesn't have to work nearly as much as a Webserver.

I didn't even mention that this RAT also requires a mysql server which is even additional resource consumption on your machine.

Nothing. He would not witness the chaos if he was debugging only on 1 client. He certainly has not tested it very well.
