This new add-on is from the same team of developers that created Exodus, and now that the Exodus gets far too many complaints by Kodi users, the developer team decided to create Covenant. I know its down for good. There is an alternative that my dad has been using that I can't remember the name of though.

Well yes covenant is the new thing but recently it has also faced a backlash. Because colossus the repository which contained Covenant has gone done due to which some of the best addons are down. But recently there is another repository that is Kodil which allows smooth installation for covenant kodi and even bennu for kodi.
