Disagreeing because of the fact that I like the way it currently is.

It must be section moderators, since the person moderates one section...

Actually all those users are not in the Moderator group. By default MyBB shows anyone with Group Moderation powers as Moderators. Renaming the Group won't fix it. It's a core feature.
