Alexandre Cazes made multiple OPSEC mistakes such as hosting the servers under his name, username recycling and using an IRL email. Alexandre died in police custody in an apparent suicide. However, the co-owner of the fourm, Desnake has come out under his old PGP key saying he will reopen the market. He claims that his partner was killed in police custody by law enforcement, and he promised alpha02 that he will keep the market running until its very "bitter end". Many people believe that DeSnake and/or his PGP key has been compromised and the new market is a honeypot by a three letter agency.
