Fix for startup app in windows 10 update #1
Hey guys 2-3 days ago my windows 10 upgraded automatically even though i disabled it.
After it was updated the startup section in task manager got weird.
The weirdness is that the startup apps are disabled in task manager but still opens up on startup not every but some like chrome.
And chrome startups with previous browsing sections tabs and that really gives my pc load because it's running on core 2 duo.
Can someone help me quick i don't want my pc to burst up.
And the chrome isn't closing tabs when i quit it i need solution for this too.

Moved to the Operating Systems forum.

For future reference, to prevent Windows upgrading automatically, disable the Windows Update service. If you have restore points available, hit a System Restore back to the date of when everything was functioning correctly. That aside, Windows 10 does have a rollback feature In the recovery options to go back to a previous build, but In my experience It has failed on a couple of occasions.

In Google Chrome, navigate to "Customize > Settings > On Startup".

Select your option thereafter.

I have tried that but there isn't a option for keeping it close.

Do you see "Open the New Tab page" and "Open a specific page or set of pages" In the directory mentioned above?

Okay, what we'll do Is delete your entire profile from Google Chrome. This will remove your previous tabs, hence solve your Issue.

Effectively, It'll go back to It's default state- much the same to when you first Installed the browser. Do note that this will also remove any personalized settings you may have applied. Here's what to do:

(1).  First you need show hidden files and folders. In Windows Explorer, go to "View (tab at the top) > Options > View" and check the Show hidden files, folders, and drives radio button as per the Image below.

(2). Navigate to Google Chrome's default profile directory being "C:\Users\ (YOUR USERNAME)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

(3). Make sure that Google Chrome Is closed. In the "Default" folder  (this Is where the browser's profile Is stored), delete everything.

(4). Open Google Chrome and you will see the Chrome startup page, meaning It's now back to It's default state.

Thanks for solution man but the problem got fix after i deleted chrome from run in registry and i close every tab before shutting down so it didn't start on startup. Hope the solution fix someone else problem.

It's good to read your Issue Is resolved.

What I've documented above, also works with all major browsers, with the only difference being the browser's profile directory.
