Fiver - Need Advice 12-21-2022, 10:51 PM
#1
Yo, so i recently made a couple graphic design gigs for my Fiverr account hoping that i could make some money on the side.
Is anyone experienced who would like to share a couple tips how to get the first sales and reviews? Since it's a pretty competitive scene it's pretty hard to go over that bridge.
Thanks beforehand!

It's not very beginner friendly, since you need to compete with many other well established and highly rated people. You need a lot of dedication to build a following. I'd recommend creating some social media accounts purely focussed on your art and try to get people from there to your Fiverr page. Good luck man! Anything is possible

Thanks for the Feedback and the wishes man. Do you have any better more beginner-friendly platform for a graphic designer like me looking to get some experience ?
Thanks beforehand!

If it is purely to get experience Fiverr is a good way to learn to communicate with clients and handeling feedback and stuff.
But if you want to make some money and have a decent portfolio you should consider continuing as a freelancer and just email a lot of companies in your area if you can make some stuff for them.
You would be suprised how happy companies are with stuff a beginner graphic designer makes.
Also do not sell yourself short. The more experience you have the more money per hour/day you can ask.
As long as you keep learning and try to improve yourself, things are gonna be fine.

What sort of graphic design do you do? Fiverr is quite competitive, you'd probably be better establishing yourself locally to build a portfolio and reputation.
