Yes! Sorry about the delay, school got a bit hectic. I have got a meeting with a prosecutor in the next few months to fight this careless driving ticket. The officer said she'd go into details of the conditions that day on her report so I'm hoping it goes well and I don't have to opt for a trial to defend my case. The insurance company hasn't gotten back to me regarding the claims from the other driver yet.

Fuck those pricks lol, my first accident my friend rammed right into a pole. Fuckin' sucked I was in the passenger seat and the impact was like nothing else I've felt. Couldn't feel anything from the adrenaline lol.

Your well being and the fact that no one was harmed is what matters, everything else is replaceable, be safe.

This has become somewhat ridiculous. You lost control of your car due to a snow storm, and they've hit you with reckless driving. Work that out.

Anyway, I wish you all the best to clear this up.

I know the feeling of that bs, although mine was a bit different in the event that a lady got scared I was gonna pull out in front of her, swerved, hit my truck(I was behind the stop sign still) and I got the tickets for it. It was alright though because her new Toyota was crumpled from my cattle guard and I was able to drive to school in my truck the same day. The judge wouldn't clear my ticket though even though I fought and fought. And my insurance skyrocketed as I was only 16.

Oh God. Did you go see the prosecutor beforehand?

Hopefully they play it down to something extremely minor or I will request the court date. Since the guy is now claiming injuries it may be more complex.

I had a deer run into the side of my Jeep Compass. No damage to front of vehicle. But it in the process it shorted out the electrical system and destroyed the transmission and starter. Never get a Jeep. Such a shitty brand.
