Hey guys I have never built a PC before so I was hoping you guys can give me some input and maybe some tips as well or ideas to make it cheaper . I plan on using the build mostly for productivity such as software development and entertainment use like movies and editing, so i would like it to run 4k with no problem. I'd also use it for a bit of gaming nothing too extreme (but of my gaming would be done on the Xbox One X) but enough to satisfy.

So, you want to use it for software dev and entertainment. You don't need it for extreme gaming.

So why did you build a $2000 machine with top of the line gaming parts.

I mean it works, definitely no drop in power, might wanna watch that cooler though. May be a pain to work with your board. But then again maybe not.

Yeah its very safe to say that I am not hardware literate at all unfortunately. I just want everything to work properly without any hiccups (which is an idiotic way of looking at it).

I fixed the parts list a bit but It's still pretty expensive considering some parts prices aren't factored in.

Modified it a bit, more aimed towards getting work done.  All the prices are factored in.  MicroATX is the best form factor imo

Definitely seconding this build. Lots of space, a decent graphics card, durable (and a lot of) RAM, and a good motherboard speed as well. Of course it will work great for daily use, but it also will allow for playing moderate games, and definitely be good for video work.
