You're right on Fire Emblem, I wish they'd go more into detail on the expansiveness of customization. I haven't played Skyrim yet, sadly.

As far as class goes, you get to choose which role you want to work with and you get new abilities using that job. As far as character customization, there isn't any because it's completely story based game. You can easily change your equipment in the game, though I guess you were looking for customizing the equipment themselves which would take away from the point of the jobs and same with putting points into stats. the game is great for what it is and changing it with customization would really take away from it.

Along with the gameplay and customization, I also heard that the writer of Steins;Gate also wrote the story for this game, which is a definite plus.
