Do you have a specific genre of anime that you like/prefer to watch?

Shounen, mostly. And then Sports anime. I still don't understand why I like sports anime so much. I hate sports. Rolling my chair around to grab things from the kitchen is hard enough as it is.

I just like dark anime, so it can be across the board for all I care. Some examples:

Made in Abyss

Mecha like G Gundam, Getter Robo, and Gurren Lagann are really good.

Some of my absolute favorites are Action, Sci-Fi, and Noir. I'll watch almost any genre, though.

I like anything violent, not with a weak death toll, and lots of drama.
Vampire genre, and stuff like Black Butler slasher/gore, but also this sad 'sob story' genre that can bring down the mood of the entire room.

Haikyuu! Never felt so immersive while watching something like i did with Haikyuu. Amazing ride.

I love Sports Anime Hungry Heart, Captain Tsubasa, Hajime no Ippo are one of my favourite anime's. Can learn a lot about sports by watching these animes.
