FanExpo Canada 2017 loot #1
I spent yesterday at one of Canada's biggest conventions, and I think it went amazing this year. I went to the first Canadian RWBY panel, met Charlet Chung (D.Va's voice actress), and had a blast going around the convention.
I have some pictures of my loot, available here.

As a side note, I may have already dropped my knife, and it's real sharp.

It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

Ouch (the knife wound).

How cool Is the D.Va mech? Love It. If you don't mind me asking, what was the total cost of the Items?

The cut looks much worse than it is Tongue The mech is the first 6" pop I've bought and I think it might stay that way because of the difference in price, but it was worth it.
I think everything totaled around $200 CAD including lunch (in an outside food court, of course; no way I'm buying a $7 slice of pizza).

Yeah, I remember your distaste for them, but they're good for collectors that don't have a ton of disposable income. If I could afford the official figurine from Blizzard, I would buy it in an instant.

I honestly thought It would've costed a lot more than 200$. You've done very well.

As for the 7$ "slice" of pizza, I've never heard of anything so ridiculous. In my locality, a large pizza Is 2$ cheaper.
EDIT: Typo.

Food at conventions and concerts is beyond ridiculous. They charge $5 for a ginger ale at one of the venues here.

It's ridiculous Isn't It? In terms of that, It's much the same In my locality Inclusive of sporting events.

I don't drink (alcohol) but a friend of mine who does, pays around 7$ for a standard size beer at a football match. Along with entry fee, food and transport, It gets pretty expensive- particularly when It's done on a weekly basis for the duration of the sporting season.

I haven't been to an expo as of yet. I have intentions in going to one of the next few locally and in Chicago.
