Facebook CEO may have known of questionable privacy practices: WSJ #1
Quote:(Reuters) - Facebook Inc emails appear to show Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg’s involvement in discussions about its much criticized privacy practices, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The newspaper said reporters had not seen the emails and relied on unnamed people. The report said the communications “appear to show Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg’s connection to potentially problematic privacy practices at the company”. Shares of the Menlo Park, California-based company were down 1.8% at $174.9 in early afternoon trading.

The emails have raised concerns within the company that they could be a public relations problem, at least, for Facebook, the WSJ reported, citing one of the people familiar with the matter.

How is this news? Facebook has been a honeypot from the very beginning. The fact that it was not designed with privacy in mind proves that its very foundation is 'problematic' and it should've been clear to every motherfucker from day one the minute the site required a convoluted amount of personal info just to register the account.

And it takes 10 years for a news outlet to report this "problematic" setup? What a joke.

I cannot fathom how people post their personal Information on FB, at the disposal of the entire globe.

The equation Is pretty simple- keep It where It belongs, within the confines of your capable hands and you'd be unaffected by Facebook's ongoing privacy Issues.
