Wow, that's even crazier, and I'm glad things turned out okay for her. Someone else I knew was in an accident where he swerved and hit a tree, totalling his car and crushing it from the outside. He had to crawl out his window and miraculously got out of it with a few scratches.

It's one of the better stories I have. I was up at a cottage with 15-20 people and one of the guys went hard the night before we left. He was one of the first people to leave, but was still drunk when he woke up. Drove home, and ran in to a tree. Died on impact. We stopped doing those trips after that.

Stories like these make me a firm believer in designated drivers. If I ever had even a bit if a drink, I always ask someone in advance to take my keys.

I always drive everyone to parties that I can (including my own). Means less people with cars that could make stupid mistakes. I'd rather lots of people crash at my house and get in shit for it then someone doing something stupid.

Yep. I will not designate myself as drive and have even a taste, because, well.. I can't stop once I've started. Nearly killed myself at my last party, BAC of over 0.4. That may be something worth fixing though..

Gotten 3 fines for parking in my life.

First was cause I thought i parked into an area where there was no parking fee but turns out there was even though there werent any signs. Payed 30€
Second was cause i forgot parking clock (had 1h free parking) so got fined 35€ for forgetting a clock even though i parked for like 10min.
Third time was cause I used mobile parking where i send my registration number via text to the parking organization so they can confirm my parking. But i reversed my letters and numbers so they didnt recognize my car number in their database. I though sent letter to them (email) to confirm that i had made a mixup but still payed for the parking via the text so gladly got the fine dismissed.

Also gotten 2 times speeding ticket. One time cause of speedcamera on the road and one time from actual police measuring my speed.

People drive intoxicated a lot on the way back from frat parties. I know at least two did at the last party I was at.
