So, this thread will be all about my Emergency Service volunteering / Ambulance service and etc!

For those who don't know, I volunteer in the St Johns Ambulance, and I also volunteer in the Emergency Service.

3/10/13 - Today/Tonight I have floodboat rescue and radio communication training in the Emergency Service

[I'm still waiting for my uniform to turn up]

Ambulance Service

Still awaiting my uniform, can't wait to get started!

As much as I like your dedication to this thread, sooner or later you will have to post about a person dieing in your hands.
But keep up the good work ^^

My friend is an EMT. She works 24 hour shifts, it sucks.
Don't talk about it, be about it.

Wow, the horror stories you must have. My brother-in-law is a fire fighter. He has some stories to tell about the car wrecks he has assisted on.

If you need to go down a rope, the person probably isn't worth saving.

What about floods? You have to tie yourself before going into flood waters!

If you ever see me, and you're in danger, tell me it's you so I don't have to save you...

I'll save myself, I don't rely on other people for my safety.
