While I wasn't particularly sad to see Trump's tweets silenced, I think Musk is absolutely right. I know why they did it, but that doesn't make it right. It was morally wrong. Silencing an unfavorable/uneducated opinion doesn't teach the average joe to use their brains more when they read posts on social media.
Schools, parents/adults should be teaching their kids to understand the difference between sources of information, their reliability and how to come their own conclusions about whether they think that info is valid. Silencing someone, teaches everyone nothing and perpetuates a problem.
If more generations grow up understanding how to dissect the info they are exposed to, perhaps we would see less stupidity from people swallowing nonsense they read on social media? Wishful thinking, I know!

I think it's totally justifiable.. I personally don't think he ever should of been banned from all social media in the first place. Other political figures have done way worse and gotten off with nothing at all.

Let everyone write what he/she wants, as long as you don't threaten anyone.
Who does not want to hear or read it, it simply leaves.
I always do not understand all this excitement.
There are also enough other politicians who only give stupid stuff from themselves and they may continue to write.

Internet is full of dickheads anyway
Everything I post here is fictional. Anything mentioned on my posts that corresponds to events that happened in real life is coincidental.

I hope he didn't just buy Twitter for that?
Here's a recent statement from Elon Musk - "I really think banning Donald Trump was wrong, I think it was a mistake," Musk said, speaking at the Financial Times Future of the Car conference. He stressed that he would have repealed the permanent ban of the former U.S. president.
According to the businessman, Trump's banning of Twitter accounts only discouraged users from the popular U.S. social network but did not prevent the scandalous politician from speaking out in the end.
To be honest, I didn't notice that Twitter lost popularity because of it, but that's just my opinion.
