Did check the existing threads, some good suggestions yet nothing too edgy overall.
Film industry is arguably at an all time low in 2023, yet past years brought us some gems in the horror genre.

I'll start with my humble list:

Beyond the Black Rainbow (2010)
The Babadook (2014)
It Follows (2014)
The Visit (2015)
The Witch (2015)
The Strangers (2016)
The Ritual (2017)
Hereditary (2018)
Midsommar (2019)

Most of them are NOT easy to watch, don’t expect some chill popcorn time with friends.
Not that they are particularly scary, but they do require some mental commitment lol.

List far from exhaustive, missing some promising ones I have yet to watch from A24 (Under The Skin, The Lighthouse, X, ...).

Out of all the horror movies you listed, Hereditary is the most memorable movie for me.

An exceptional, chilling masterpiece. One of the best psychological horror movies I have ever seen.
