Did anyone see the eclipse? Were you around when the 1999 eclipse happened?

I actually thought the same thing, didn't even know there was an eclipse.

Although I didn't see it, I took a peek at the Twitter hash tag and it looks like some of the pictures taken would actually make for some amazing wallpapers.

I figured that may have made several members confused...

I saw the sky go from light grey to a slightly darker grey... to light grey again. It was beautiful.

Our school decided to push us all out of class during the "event" to go and witness it. Turned out it was too cloudy so we only saw five minutes of what was supposed to be the great eclipse. Teehee.

Yeah I remember it, like it was yesterday.. I was 0 years old.. Great times.

I apparently made a little projector with my Dad back in 1999 for that eclipse, but I don't remember it at all... I was like, 4 though.

I set an alarm specifically so I would wake up in time to see it... and saw nothing.
