I believe it.  A lot of cops are corrupt anyway.

My friend who's an ex-police officer, has told me about corruption In the police force, some of which Is related to narcotics.

He was working for the drug squad for the majority of his career, but for obvious reasons, I can't disclose what I was told.

What I can say, Is that there's a lot of cover-ups.
