I'm 25. I've been smoking cigarettes since I was 15. I used to drink A LOT from ages 17-23 or so, but I've slowed down a lot now. Now, I just drink wine on the weekends. I'm getting too old to get wasted all the time lol.
As for the weed...well...the BF and I are planning a road trip to Colorado soon. We'll be staying in Denver, so....
But for the most part, I try not to break the law.

I think that drinking and smoking, as with anything, is great if done in moderation and if done smartly. I've never enjoyed getting TRASHED-- I'm happy after a few beers, or a glass or two of wine, but I never really go beyond that just because I really value being completely in control of my actions. I'm much more of a social drinker than a partier. Every once in awhile I'll have a glass of wine on my own, especially when I'm writing, but normally it's just a beer or two with friends.
I'm much the same way with smoking. I had never smoked cigarettes before I came to school, and have been very careful not to overdo it, as there are a lot of pack-a-day smokers at my school. I never smoke alone, I'll only smoke with someone else. I've only ever bought one pack of cigarettes and I've still got most of it left. I just think it's good to moderate in order to avoid forming any habits.
But I can appreciate and respect anybody who does a LOT of both. To each his own, and no shame in going out and experiencing the extremes of the world!
