RE: Dreams/Nightmares - Your experiences and opinions #11
Although I had nightmares during the last years I still only remember the ones from childhood clearly.

Most often I dreamed that I would fall. We lived in a house where the stairs went clockwise around the walls and in the middle there was a huge gap (I don't know how to describe it better). They had a stair-rail, but I could just slip through at that age. I guess that made me afraid of falling through. So I often dreamed I would slip through and just fall and there was no bottom, just black.

I also used to sleepwalk at that age (I was 3-4 years old). One time my mother didn't close the door, so I got out of the flat while sleepwalking, into the stairs room and woke up further down, crying. Some neighbours brought me back. It was just luck that there was no accident. Maybe it made me even more afraid of falling.

Sometimes I dreamed I would walk down a sidewalk and the street was "magnetically" attracting my foot. Sometimes my foot would touch the street ground and I was unable to pull it back. Afraid of the cars I tried very hard and I was always only able to pull my foot away right before the car had hit me otherwise.

Would you mind telling it?
My curiosity woke up.

I won't directly tell what it is, but what I will say is that it involves my girl friend Smile

I did a lotta sleep walking when I was real young. I never left our home, luckily.

I think on a few occasions I had nightmares of all of my teeth falling out at once. I have no idea why...

Mine is some sort of weird experience. I have discussed this with a handful of friends and some agree with me while others simply don't get it. What you make of it is entirely up to you.

I had spent a few hours drinking with friends at a friends home who was celebrating his birthday. We had a few rounds of drinks till about 3am when I left for my home, which is a walking distance from his home. On my way home I was very much aware of footfalls behind me which could only have been a few meters away. I instinctively turned around and saw a woman behind me who kind of seemed oblivious of my presence and wouldn't meet my gaze no stare back at me.

I thought this was strange as normally a woman at that time of the morning should show concern when walking a long road alone with some stranger, worse still when that stranger is a man. I kept walking for about 5mins and suddenly decided to turn and check if she was still there. Lo and behold she was gone, vanished into thin air. I stopped and searched all areas and couldn't find this lady. I wasn't really scared but kept wondering where on earth she had gone to. Strange huh!
