I used to mess with dogecoin a lot, and I had 50k before I got chargebacked on Ebay after trying to sell it (not my decision, father decided to do it against my will and I was like 12 at the time). With the recent news and price, do you guys think it is really mooning? I have a large sense of doubt as there seems to be no real reason why the coin is being pumped this hard as there is no features that set it apart from most cryptos or no big bad hedge fund guys betting against it.

This pump does seem different though, in its size mostly. I have a feeling that it will crash awfully hard once the whale that is behind this dumps it all on the market.

Am I just a hater? Or is there more behind all this?

Time will tell, just like other cryptos the only way to know for sure is to hodl :/

One thing is for sure though. A LOT more people are paying attention to cryptocurrencies than last week

I personally wouldn't even put much into dogecoin expecting a profit but only do it because it's fun to tip people in dogecoin and also It's a fun crypto imo
It's always pumped because some people want to get a profit out of it hell, People on github are trying to get a cap on dogecoin for monetary gain and not because it's a joke currency
and even got denied by the developers

The point of dogecoin was to be a currency that was easy and cheap to get your hands on. The community was focused on giving so that's why things like giveaways and Dogetipbot were highly used on reddit. Now greed has taken over and people are just focusing of profit instead of the sense of community that Dogecoin provided.

in my opinon i dont like that coin but after elon tweet people get mad ..... maybe this coin isnt popular but maybe after 10-20 year later he can comne up as this dog is very popular. but Btc is always in heart whether it end or keep going.

Dogecoin is the leader of all memecoin out there, technology is outdated. No updates for years now.. but since Elon Musk clearly is into trolling and dogs, the coin is getting some love but its definitely more of a betting shitcoin investing than value investing coin.
