My intent with this was to take a server I already had online and just repurpose it. With this, the upkeep is $0, and we have nearly unlimited resources. Those aren't the big perks though, with this, I can give oper status to sl staff if it gets big enough to need a presence there (its actually doing fairly well, seems like there is always at least one non-me online), and I allow cracked clients (realms wont let you do that). Meaning that SL users can play regardless of if they own the game, we can add whatever mods we want, etc.

Im just not a fan of realms... it's a microsoft hosted server with all of the administrative tasks taken away from you, and you can only allow so many people. I could have the entire forum playing on mine if they chose to.

Not too much into gaming right now. I am waiting for new titles to come out the games these days a garbage.
Bought a 2000$ laptop just so I can play the next upcoming games this end of the year.

Not too much into gaming right now. I am waiting for new titles to come out the games these days a garbage.
Bought a 2000$ laptop just so I can play the next upcoming games this end of the year.

Ouch....that's a lot to spend on a computer... I've spent about $1,300 on my desktop (see some specs on this thread). Laptops are always garbage anyways, too small to fit good CPU's and still be able to cool them.
