Actually, heavy computer use doesn't harm your eyes at all. Even heavy eye strain caused by computer use isn't proven to have harmful affects to your eyes, and eye strain can be prevented by using proper techniques.

Anyways, I have 20/20 vision, and would like to keep it that way. One of my career options requires at least corrective 20/20, but I would like perfect 20/20. I wear sunglasses all the time outside, and if you care about your eyes you should too. The suns UV rays esseniently boil your eyes over time, clouding them. Invest in a good pair of sunglasses.

I used to wear eyeglasses, but after going through LASIK surgery, I finally got rid of them. I inherited my myopia from my parents, both of whom are myopic. My mother managed to get rid of her contact lenses after she underwent LASIK. At her recommendation, I've decided to undergo the procedure, and the rest is history. Now I can perform physical activities which were impossible when I used to wear eyeglasses. Now my brother is wearing eyeglasses.
