If joining band for a year in like grade 6, than faking most of the time while "playing" the trumpet counts.

Then yes. Biggrin

Not when you got like 15 other people, and you sit in the middle.

Na, I didn't really take to it. I found it extremely boring.

Indeed I do. I've been playing the guitar since I was 7 and I'm turning 16 next month.
I have a lot of improving to do, but I enjoy playing it so I'll always strive to improve to reach my goal.

How long did you play? The violin grew on me after about 4 years. I've been playing for 5.5 years now...

How hard is it? I'm interested in learning. And yes, the pleasure drives it all...

It's not that hard, once you get the hang of it.
It's just mainly a few simple chords and some scales. Once you got those down, you can pretty much do anything. Scales can vary and you can mix em up to make your own solos and chords are pretty much the rhythm of any song.
It shouldn't take that much time to learn, but try it out. One site I'd recommend using is songsterr.com since you can listen to the tabs and it'll give you a feel of what things sound like as you play them.

Oh god. I just realized its an April fools joke. All of the text is a bit jumbled.

OT: one of these days I'm gonna sit down and do it. Seems quite fun...
