I watched an old re-run of "The Real" talk show recently. The host (Loni Love) began talking about the number she tells a new guy regarding her number of lovers. In her words, she divides this number by 7 and subtracts 3. Of course, her comment got big laughs.
I believe honesty is the best policy especially considering AIDs and other conditions in this world. Also, I have had many lovers.
Do you tell the truth about the number of people you have slept with?

Nah, I don't lie about that. I'm not ashamed. People can accept you for who you are or not, but things are a lot easier and less stressful when you just tell the truth.

Why would a man or woman lie about the amount of people they have slept with, to me it shows they are an adventurous sort of person, and I don't agree with the whole social thought on a woman who sleeps around being a slut.

I completely understand your point about AIDS and such. BUT..and this is speaking from a woman's perspective of course, If the woman is actively seeing her gynecologist and has paperwork stating she is clean..then its okay to lie a bit.
I mean let's be honest...that "magic" number makes you men look at us women a little differently....all the while your number is probably double hers. But because of the stereotype-- women should not be having more and X amount of lovers before she is considered a garden tool...while men can sleep with the world...and they are just "being men" so yes..we lie...for the good of the relationship. Because what you think we are at whatever number is usually not the case anyway!
