RE: Do you believe your an Anonymous member #51
I beleive when you're over the internet, you're not Anonymous because your identity can be tracked. Whether you use proxies or anything to stay anonymous but still you're under track. No doubt proxies give tough time to track out but it's not a solution 100%.

That depends actually.. Everything depends on what steps you want to take to stay hidden... I would say that if you follow the following steps you could hack NASA/FBI/Pentagon/etc and never be found.. As always, correct me if I'm wrong
  1. Steal a laptop, that you destroy when done, booting a live CD/USB
  2. Spoof the mac
  3. Use open wifi in a public library/cafe in another city from where you live (maybe even country if you live close enough to a border like me)
  4. Make sure you know where any cameras are so you can stay concealed
  5. Use vpn and ssh tunnel, not registered to you of course, and some random proxies
The question is how much effort will you put into staying hidden?

There are no ways to remain 100% anonymous on the internet, the only thing you can do is make it too hard for them to not be worth your while, but if you go for some big hacks they will never stop looking and eventually you will make a mistake

IMO anonymous consist 90% out of people that have no life, friends or feel not accepted by society. For them its just an easy way to feel accepted and be a part of something or just to get even with the society that never "accepted or understood" them.

I do respect the "real" anonymous and their actions not the wannabees aka skiddies.
