Do You Set Goals In Life? #1
Greetings everyone,

I'm very meticulous/pedantic with everything I apply myself to, and as a result, I set goals by formulating strategies In readiness for future events and happenings. I like to know where I'm heading In life way In advance, and what I expect to achieve In a given time-frame.

Evidently, I set goals so my question Is, do you do the same or do you simply play It by ear and take things as they come?

I do. I do set goals in life, but never goals that are a "maybe", why? Well I think that if you set goals that you might not make, you get disappointed when you don't reach your goals, so it's never good to set goals that you might or might not make.

I set goals everyday though, in the morning when I get up, I write on a notepad what I want to do that day and when I get it all done I feel very good. When I don't reach the goals of that day that's ashame, but not that bad.

I think that everyone should set goals, just because people will do extra effort to reaching them.

I do most of the time. Depends on what though.

If I'm at the gym, I'll walk in there with a goal set and usually walk out with 5 or so more reps than I wanted. If I'm playing something like ESO, I'll tell myself that I'm not leaving until I get at least 5 more levels. If I'm practicing piano, I'll usually learn at least 4-5 things before finally quitting.

I guess I do but not in the most productive way. I could push myself farther with other things, but motivation is a huge part of that.

I've always (and still do) go by the motto of "Don't expect anything and you won't be disappointed". You've just summed up my saying perfectly here.

My goals are well within reason, therefore I seldom get disappointed If they're not met.

Nope. I just live life and whatever happens, happens. Though, if it's a menial task, I'll set a goal.

I've been setting goals my entire life, whether it be physical or mental.

I believe any goal (no matter how small), Is advantageous to some degree.

We all set goals without realizing It. Arriving to work/school on time, planning a night out on Saturday, organizing a New Year's Eve party and the list goes on. Of course, personal long term goals are very much different.

Money to invest is the right thing. You should never expect to make a stable income from eWhoring.
